Arkansas Student Loan Authority - The Arkansas Student Loan Authority is a state entity created to provide access to and information about educational funding for all Arkansas students who wish to attend institutions of higher education. Their goal is to make higher education more accessible to students through affordable student loan programs and by providing college planning services to Arkansas families.

Arkansas Division of Higher Education -  this division works closely with the public colleges and universities in Arkansas to promote higher education across the state.

IDEA vs ADA (504) - Section 504 and the ADA, which apply to postsecondary education, are very different from the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which covers grades preK - 12. This means some adjustment of the perspectives of students, parents, and instructors is necessary when making the transition from high school to college.

Accommodations vs. Modifications - While both words sound similar, they have different meanings. Accommodations change how a student learns material. Modifications change what a student is taught. Use this chart to learn the difference!
